Our Shipping Information
**Shipping charges are subject to change, or additional shipping charges may be applied, customer will be notified of any additional shipping charges prior to shipping. **
We do not ship outside the United States, or to Hawaii. For orders shipped to Alaska please see below.
We are dedicated to shipping your plants the fastest, most economical way possible. It is important that your plants not sit in a warehouse over a weekend. Orders shipping to western states are typically shipped on Mondays for Friday delivery. Indiana orders are typically shipped on Thursdays for Friday delivery. Remaining states are shipped on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
We currently ship within the U.S. using USPS Priority Mail and UPS Ground. Typically orders that have minimum shipping charge are shipped via USPS Priority Mail please make sure ship to address can receive mail delivered by the Postal Service.
Expedited Shipping: Unless you have a specific need to ship quickly, it is not necessary to choose expedited shipping. The majority of our plant orders ship UPS Ground or Priority Mail and arrive by the end of the week they are shipped in terrific shape, ready for planting.
Special Note for Alaska: All Alaska orders will ship via USPS Priority Mail, make sure the ship to address you enter can receive mail delivered by the Postal Service, we are not responsible for undeliverable packages due to incorrect shipping address information. The shipping cost depends on number of boxes and total weight, which we do not know until your order is packed. Therefore, your credit card will be charged two different times. Once at the time you place your order for merchandise only and again at time of shipping for shipping costs only. If you want to be notified with the shipping cost prior to your card being charged, please choose to be notified at the time of check out on our website. Keep in mind this will delay your shipment if we are unable to reach you. A 10% fee of total order will apply on ALL cancellation orders.
Ship - To Address
If you would like us to ship your item to a different address, you may do so at no extra charge. We can also ship to multiple addresses. Each address in a multiple address order should be treated as a new order. Simply submit a new order for every address that you are shipping to.
We cannot ship to a P.O. Box if your order ships via UPS since will not deliver to a PO Box. Please provide a valid street address.
We do not ship outside the United States, or to Freight Forwarding Companies.
Accuracy of Address
Please make sure your address information is accurate and complete. If the address is incomplete, it may delay receipt of the package and you will be charged a fee to correct the address (even if only the apartment or suite number is missing).
Some items may incur an additional shipping charge due to their size/weight and/or the distance that they are being shipped. We will contact you with these charges before the order is processed for final approval.
Shipping Date and Order Changes
Your order will be shipped on the date specified on your confirmation. If you need to change your specified shipping date, please notify us at least 7 days in advance. We cannot change any shipping date with less than a 7-day notice. Any order changes will also be treated in this manner.
Policies, Terms, and Conditions
All cancelled orders are subject to a 5% credit card return fee. No returns accepted without prior approval. There is a 10% restocking fee for all returns, and no refund on shipping charges for returned items.
1) Our terms are total net due at time of shipment or pick up unless previous credit terms are arranged. 2) Check, money order or charge card payment on all mail order sales of $100 or less. 3) All orders over $100 - 25% deposit must accompany order, balance due prior to shipment unless credit has been pre-arranged. Due to order processing limitations, ONLINE ORDERS WILL BE CHARGED TO CREDIT CARDS UPON RECEIPT UNLESS PRIOR PAYMENT ARRANGEMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE. 4) Shipments are F.O.B. our shipping point and our liability will cease upon carrier possession. 5) No C.O.D. SHIPMENTS. 6) No refund amounts less than $5.00. 7) A $25 fee will be charged on all returned checks.
Conditions of Sale
All orders accepted are subject to crop failures and damage by natural causes. We reserve the right to refund all or any part of payment for plants such affected. We are very careful to keep varieties true to name and will replace or refund, upon proper proof, anything that may be otherwise. All orders are accepted without liability for non-performance if labor shortages or delay in transportation should prevent us from making delivery. NOTICE TO BUYERS: Indiana Berry & Plant Company warrants that the plants it sells will conform to the label description as required by federal and state seed laws. It makes no other warranties, expressed or implied, of merchantability, fitness for purpose, or otherwise, and in any event its liability for breach of any warranty or contract with respect to such plants received is limited to the purchase price of such plants or seeds.
BUYER's sole and exclusive remedy against SELLER for breach of warranty, or breach of any statutory obligation or negligence shall be for the replacement of the goods or for refund of the price actually paid. No other remedy (including, but not limited to, incidental or consequential damages for lost profit, lost sales, damage to property, or any other incidental or consequential loss) shall be available to BUYER.
Indiana Berry & Plant Company guarantees that you will receive top quality products and plants that have been nursery inspected, true-to-name, whichwill break dormancy with vigorous in growth when reasonable and proper care is given. We also guarantee to ship plants on confirmed dates Monday through Thursday. If for any reason you are not satisfied, Indiana Berry & Plant must be notified within two months of shipment. We will either send replacement plants if applicable, refund your payment, or apply a credit on your account towards future purchases (refunds less than $5.00 will be applied to future purchases). For claims received after June 15th, plants will be replaced the following spring. This guarantee does NOT cover plants shipped outside of the recommended planting times or delays in planting to inclement weather. This guarantee covers full purchase price and does not imply any further responsibility or liability. Shipping may be charged on large replacement orders.
