Southern Highbush (Low Chill)
Southern Highbush blueberries are low chill plants that offer gardeners in the south a chance to enjoy blueberries similar to those grown in northern regions. Southern Highbush is specifically developed for great blueberry flavor, heat tolerance, soil adaptability and low winter chilling. Self-fertile plants to do not require another variety but, two varieties can be beneficial in fruit production. Depending on the location early Southern Highbush can begin ripening in May.
